Though bingo first gained it's popularity in the early to mid 1900's at carnivals, it has since become a regular past time in churches, community bingo halls and casinos. Laws vary by state and city if regulation is needed since it is a form of gambling. This ornament depicts a single bingo card with a blue background and red edges complete with numbers and some already marked red for numbers already called. The design also includes a dauber laying on the card. A dauber, a dispense of liquid with a sponge like end, is used In most formal settings to "cover" the number which has been called whereas a bean or disc may be used in other settings. The back and sides of this ornament are solid read and all sides are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkly glittered accents.
