This two-sided ornament depicts a very familiar sign, US Route 1, aka US Highway 1, create during the 1920's and runs north and south along the East Coast from the U.S. Canada border in Maine all the way down to Key West, Florida, including parts of the old Atlantic Highway. It runs fairly parallel to the faster moving Interstate Highway 95 built in the 1960's.  Give this ornament as a gift to remember a vacation traveling along the East Coast.  The front and back of this ornament have the same detailed highway sign design and all sides are solid black.  It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkly glittered accents.
