This fun critter glitter-free decoration has vintage antiqued grey coloring, while the real life Chinchilla just happens to have anywhere from white to dark grey coloring.  This rodent is native to South American and are between the size of a squirrel and small cat. They are known for the large rounded ears and some like them as pets (though not suggested for children).  The top 1" of the tail may be gently bent over or upright.  All sides are nicely detailed. It is made of delicately hand-painted blown glass plus faux fur.  This item does Not contain glitter.  

Shelf:  This item is not completely flat on the bottom, however it will easily sit upright on a "sturdy" flat surface
