This finely crafted amphibian ornament depict a rarely seen species of salamander.  It has a lizard like appearance, is shiny black with yellow spots and while this ornament depicts one above ground on a mossy or grassy rock, the species is found in forest wetlands and spends most of it's time below ground except for rainy periods and mating season, when they head for ponds of water.  All sides of this ornament are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkly glittered accents.
