State Of Oklahoma Glass Ornament, 4", OWC# 36224

This fine ornament displays the Old West westward movement and oil fields importance of Oklahoma. The ornament is blue for the big sky, in the shape of the state including the panhandle, and has a big cowboy hat on the top. The designs on the front include a scissor-tailed flycatcher (the state bird), a buffalo aka American bison, a covered wagon, oil derrick and a gold star in the approximate location of Oklahoma City, the state capital. The lettering "Oklahoma", also on the front, is in raised red print with gold edging. All sides are detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkly glitter accents.

BACK: The back and sides are solid blue with blue glitter, matching the background on the front.
