Short Sphere Egyptian Glass Ornament - Purple, 7", EM15738 crystal drop by Egyptian Museum

Transparent Purple with 24k Gold Accents and Asfour Crystals - Clear Etched Center Christmas Ornament, 7 inches (4" glass, 3" drop). Made of mouth-blown glass in Egypt for the Egyptian Museum collection.

This lovely glass decoration is worth displaying year-round from a display stand. The design includes and approx. 1 inch round spherical center section which includes clear etched crisscross designs plus purple coloring above and below the etchings. There are 24k gold plated bands separating the clear and red sections plus around the disc at the top and bottom. The hanger ring at the top is very clear. It also includes a double faceted crystal drop attached with 24k gold plated findings. One crystal is a semi-flat 1/2" 6-sided shape and the other is a 1 1/2" faceted teardrop shape which is raised on one side and flat on the back. The entire ornament has a glossy finish. All sides are wonderfully detailed and it makes a great gift idea any time of the year. (New 2021).

Color: The color appears lighter or darker depending on the lighting condition, direct lighting to the front may give a reflective appearance while back lighting with a white background will add brightness to the color
