The term "more cowbell" refers to an SNL skit written by Will Ferrell, Donnell Cambell and features guest star Christopher Walken.  It's a fun comedy which includes a cowbell player (musician) and music from the Blue Oyster Cult band.  This bell is silver on all 4 sides with a mallet, raised gold star, and "more cowbell" in black lettering on the front.  The back also has a raised gold star.  The stars and mallet are edged in gold glitter.  The front and back also has blue glitter at the top in the area a bell strap would pass thru.  The hanger cap and ring on the top are gold plated metal.  All sides are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkling glittered accents.
