Glass Miniature Pickle Christmas Ornament, 1 1/2 inches, by Merck Family's Old World Christmas. OWC 28052. Made of blown glass and hand painted.
Use the mini pickle Christmas ornament for you miniature Christmas tree or have fun with it in your large Christmas tree. For it's size it is wonderfully detailed.
The Old World Christmas tag reads "Long ago when parents decorated the Christmas tree, they hung the pickle ornament last, hiding it in the green boughs. When the children were allowed to view the tree, they would begin searching for the pickle ornament, because they knew they would receive and extra gift for being the most observant".

Cute classic ornament
Got to have a pickle for our tabletop Christmas tree. Perfect but VERY fragile Dropped it on a wood tabletop from 2" while unwrapping it and it shattered. Lesson learned: I ordered 3 more.

mini gherkin ornament
This is the only place I could find the perfect pickle! We grew up with this mini pickle and tradition, and I needed to find one to gift to my daughter's new family. I ended up ordering another 10, gave them to my staff, and will distribute the rest as I see someone who could really use a pickle. Perfect! Quick order, quick delivery, great service.

Miniature pickle ornament
The ornament is very nice - very delicate looking. It works well on my 4' Victorian tree. I do wish it was slightly bigger.
