Hasbro has been distributing the Potato Head series since 1952 with Mrs. Potato Head added in 1953.  While most of us remember the plastic version, it was originally pieces purchased to pierce into a real potato or other vegetable and years later it appears in the original Toy Story movie.  This ornament features the plastic version all dressed up with blond hair, earrings, red shoes and red lipstick.  It has been a reminder of childhood fun for 70 years.  All sides are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkling glittered accents.
