Hasbro has been distributing the Potato Head series since 1952 and it was this male version was the first toy to be advertised on TV.  While most of us remember the plastic version, it was originally pieces purchased to pierce into a real potato or other vegetable and years later it appears in the original Toy Story movie.  This ornament features a holiday version with a traditional Santa hat plus the iconic big ears, nose, mustache and blue shotes.  It has been a reminder of childhood fun for over 70 years.  All sides are nicely detailed. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and has sparkling glittered accents.
