Description
Navigational Instrument Compass Christmas Ornament, 2 3/4", from the Merck Family's Old World Christmas Glass Ornaments collection. OWC #36226 (2018 New Release)
A compass is commonly used to find one's way while hiking, boating or flying, so commonly used that smart phones even have compass apps. This one has some old fashioned styling and the front includes the typical direction lettering and star points to the main directions. It makes a great gift idea for activities where a compass is used or as to symbolize someone finding their way in life (or a hint to find their way home). All sides are nicely detailed. The sides and back have a shiny, reflective gold color finish, the sides are also sprinkled with sparkling gold glitter while the back has a double gold glitter circle along the edges. It is made of blown glass, delicately hand-painted and hand-glittered.

I love the quality and detail of the Old World ornaments and each year I buy several as gifts. The ornaments come well packed and shipped quickly. This ornament was everything I expected.
