This colorful ornament depicts an artist's rendition of a citipati, which existed 145 million years ago during the Cretaceous period. The fossils of the non-flight bird like creature with 3 toes (therapods) have been found in Asia with sizes similar to an emu. The ornaments legs, feet, tail and neck are very firm yet semi-flexible for durability and break resistance. It is textured and detailed on all sides and includes a nylon string for hanging as an ornament. (New 2019)
