This fun black bear nativity set includes a Mama bear sitting and leaning over, Papa bear with staff, baby bear, one with a bee hive, red apples and one with green apples with a tree truck attached and a gold star at the top. The Tree trunk is a rubbery material and bends above the bears head. (see suggestion below). The Box doubles as a Creche, simply fold down the side with a flap (it has two cut outs that go into the box to hold it up). The top is a view of the tops of leafy trees, the sides show the ground and tree trunks, when you fold down the flap there's more of the forest tree scene with the guiding star plus mossy green ground cover on the flap. All figurines are nicely detailed on all sides and easily sit upright on a flat surface. (New 2020)

Suggestion: The trunk tends to bend forward, if you prefer it more straight up then while storing place clean packing materials as plain paper or foam popcorn etc over the trunk area so it remains flat during storage.
