This nicely designed and textured ornament depicts a Aardvark, which is native to the African countenent and is the only surviving species for this order of mammal and unrelated to its similar create, the ant eater. It has a long snout useful for its diet primarily of ants and terminte and though it is actually grey in color it is usually covered with reddish brown dirt changing its appearance. This ornament does a wonderful job of capturing the personality and appearance of this critter. The ornament legs, tail and ears are firm yet slightly-flexible for durability and excellent break resistance plus it includes a nylon string for hanging. It makes a great gift idea any time of the year. (New 2020)
