Golden Yellow Monarch Caterpillar Insect Christmas Ornament, 3 1/2 inches, from the Old World Christmas blown glass ornaments collection.  OWC #12322 (re-introduced mid-year 2019 originally a 2013 design)

Caterpillars are one of children's favorite insect, especially after watching one build its cocoon and turning into butterfly.  This design depicts a golden yellow and black caterpillar with white lines on the black sections sitting on a detailed green leaf.  The color and pattern can represent a species commonly associated with the monarch butterfly.  All sides are wonderfully detailed.  It is made of blown glass, hand-painted and sparkles with glittered accents.
