The scene inside the globe includes a caroling family with father playing the fiddle or violin, plus a mother and daughter holding caroling books, pine trees, shrubs and a light post with a wreath.

The base has a burgundy basket weave design plus decorative antiqued gold trim on the top, bottom and around the night time town scene which includes a church and walking bridge scene.
